The poor quality of the writing on fictionpress just drives me round the bend. It is simply painful to see so many stories about ridiculously boring, poorly written, clichèd teenage love stories. Why do they not understand that introducing your character with a physical description in the first paragraph of a story is A.) Boring, B.) Useless and C.) The sign of a truly poor writer.
